Community wellbeing
We welcome participants from all around Sussex to join us in a range of wellbeing and nature connection activities. We work holistically with all that nature offers us; to improve physical, emotional and ecological health.

Nature Connection & Wellbeing Days
We host specific full or half days appropriate to the needs of the group or organisation. These generally include some elements of facilitated group work, nature connection activity, country walk, lunch, yoga, movement, mediation or relaxation. They are delivered as a one-off, or as a run of sessions. We’ve host sessions for groups including people with refugee backgrounds, people leaving prison, people experiencing food insecurity, and more.

Wellbeing in Nature Courses
We work with self referrals, and referrals via the NHS social prescribing team, and community organisations, who join us for gentle therapeutic sessions on the land. Facilitated by a qualified group worker, we hold a safe and confidential space where participants can enjoy time in nature, tea and chats, gentle tasks in the market garden, and eco therapy practices. These sessions are particularly beneficial for those who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, social isolation, emotional health challenges, or are in recovery from chronic illness. Contact us for details of the next ten week course.

Community Volunteering
All ages and abilities are welcome to join us for our community volunteer sessions. There is always something to get involved with, and learn about from our head growers. Depending on the season we could be propagating, planting, harvesting, digging, pruning, watering....the list is endless, and fun! It's a great way to meet others, connect with the land through purposeful work, and learn about the journey of our food from farm to fork. Plus share a hearty lunch and take some produce away with you. These take place on Mondays and Tuesdays.
