Camping

Looking for a simple, peaceful and community-oriented camping experience?

We are based on 33 acres of land in Kingston, a peaceful village in the South Downs National Park. Get back to nature and take in the simple pleasures of the wide-open fields and South Downs views.

With direct access to the South Downs Way at the end of the lane, you might want to drop by and spend a few nights before continuing your hike or cycle. Or swing by with the kids for a peaceful and nature inspired time this summer. The grassy tent pitches are spread over a huge field with a composting loo and a sink with running water, so there’s a firm back-to-basics vibe. You’re also very welcome to rustle up an off-ground fire or bbq. Or pop over to the lane to our lovely countryside local pub - The Juggs

If you need any supplies, there’s our lively Saturday morning farm shop selling our own organic veg, plus bakery, dairy and essential pantry items. We offer an honesty shop at other times.

We run an acre of market garden on the land, with various volunteer groups joining us in the week - so you might spot us picking, sowing and growing, and you are welcome to come and join in! Kingston is a village clustered round a 13th-century lane, so it’s well-suited to quiet, family-friendly breaks with plenty of birdsong and wildlife.

We ask you to leave your car in the car park, and we can will lend you a wheelbarrow to shuttle your stuff to the field. There are no bins or recycling facilities, so you’ll need to whisk any rubbish away with you at the end of the stay.

Prices are £15 for an adult, and £5 for children 3-16 years. Children 0-2 years are free. No dogs.
