A farm for planet and people

Lovebrook is a for-benefit organisation based across thirty three acres in the beautiful South Downs village of Kingston. This ambitious project includes regenerative farm & forest garden, therapeutic community wellbeing days, trainee farmers course, farm shop, camping and a programme of rewilding, ponds and tree planting.

A week at Lovebrook

Every week, our busy programme benefit many people from the local and surrounding areas through participating in one of our activities.

Monday:

Community Volunteer Session: 10am-1pm

Join us on the farm for fresh air, nature connection and a hearty community lunch. This session with Kamil has a focus on permaculture, agroecology, and increasing biodiversity around the farm.

 

Imaginarium School: 2-4pm

A private session for the young people attending this wonderful, co-created learning enviroment that is based next door at Kingston Parish Hall. 

 

Tuesday: 

Community Volunteer Session: 10am-1pm

Join us on the farm for fresh air, nature connection and a hearty community lunch. This session with Lee & Kate has a focus on market gardening and veg growing.

 

Veg Bags & Honesty Shop:

Tuesdays is the biggest harvest day of the week - when we pick and pack for our veg bag customers, and stock the honesty shop at the top of the drive. Pop up and take a look what is on offer!

 

Wednesday:

Growing Together Course: 10am-1pm

This is a land based, practical 4 week course where we come together in community to grow, cook and eat together. It is free to access, and may be particularly beneficial to those who are experiencing challenging times in their life, or have barriers to participation. 

 

Thursday:

Wellbeing Days for Groups & Organisations:

Individually curated days for charity and community groups. We facilitate days to experinece the therapeutic benefits of nature connection, wellbeing practices, fresh organic food, and exploring the individual objectives of the group.

 

Friday:

Morning Yoga: 8.30-9.30am

Join Hannah for a morning yoga class in the Kingston Parish Hall. All bodies and abilities are welcome in this inclusive class. 

 

Market Gardening Traineeship:

8 month course, spending a full day per week on the land over a whole season, learning the techniques around no-dig, regenerative market gardening in a hands-on, practical course. Next course starts March 2025 - please enquire.

 

Flowery Friday & Honesty Shop:

We invite you to come and pick your own stems from our flower garden, any time between 9am-3pm. And another big harvest day, so honesty shop is freshly stocked.

 

Community Sauna:

Evening sessions starting again Autumn 2024. Private hire also available

 

Saturday:

Lewes Farmers Market: 9am-1pm

First and Third Saturdays of the month

 

Sunday:

Monthly yoga, sauna and wellbeing events. Check website for details and booking
